Obviously Kelsey is a Baseball Fan.

So Sarah birthed a 7-lb bowling ball.. On the first day of Spring Training baseball games... Lil Kelsey Curtis is more of a sports fan than his father is already...

I'm so on top of things... first one to report this hard action news.

His actual name is Simon I guess...

So the A's lost their spring training game... not that spring training games really mean anything than baseball season starts in a month... Two more weeks and off to Arizona. I guess I should talk to David and see what he called for last week.

Do You Ever Dream You Are Back in School?!?!

So I had this dream I was back in school. I think it was a high school. I was not naked in front of the whole school or dreaming about a forgotten homework assignment or anything.

It was some kick a scientific school. The kind you would get if you were in the middle of a cold war and trying to jump start your nuclear program to become the dominant world player...

So we're doing all kinds of scientific things, probably developing biological warfare, containing fusion, whatever.

My lab partner is Kristen Bell. I don't know why my subconscious picked Kristen Bell... besides seeing her in two episodes of Heroes, I have not watched any of her body of work. Maybe I secretly love older, vegetarian blonds...

You'd think being in some fascist high school developing weapons of mass destruction would be a downer... but surprisingly we had a super time. Adding food coloring to lab results... giggling like school girls. Fascism is all what you make of it apparently.

So.

In a department meeting, someone brought up the fact that some patients didn't want to be put in exam room #4. Of course they were Asian (We don't like the number four, we associate it with death, so obviously going to a cancer center and being examined in room 4 doesn't bode well for the cancer patient).

I was thinking about it. Our next President will be the 44th President of the United States of America... Maybe those Asians know something. Lets look at the history of presidents with a 4 in it. (All the events are stolen from wikipedia articles).

4th- James Madison 1809-1817

-War of 1812
-vetoed states' rights grounds a bill for "internal improvements", including roads, bridges, and canals

14th- Franklin Pierce 1853-1857
-Kansas-Nebraska Act
-the only elected president to fail to be renominated by his party for a second term. Pierce is ranked among the least effective Presidents as well as an indecisive politician who was easily influenced. He was unable to command as President or to provide the required national leadership.

24th- Grover Cleveland 1893-1897
-Panic of 1893
-Pullman Strike
-Recession of (1895 - 1897) Duration: 18 months

34th- Dwight Eisenhower 1953-1961
-Interstate Highway System
-Eisenhower preached a doctrine of dynamic conservatism
-Operation Blue Bat
-Proposed to Congress the Civil Rights Acts of 1957 and 1960
- Post-Korean War Recession (1953 - 1954) - The Recession of 1953 was a demand-driven recession due to poor government policies and high interest rates. Duration: 10 months
- Recession of (1957 - 1958) Duration: 8 months
- Recession of (1960 - 1961) Duration: 10 months

40th-Ronald Reagan 1981-1989
-Air traffic controllers' strike
-Beirut barracks bombing and Invasion of Grenada
-Iran-Contra Affair
-end of the cold war
- (1981 - 1982) Duration: 16 months
- Early 1980s recession - 1982 and 1983, caused by tight monetary policy in the U.S. to control inflation and sharp correction to overproduction of the previous decade which had been masked by inflation
- Great Commodities Depression - 1980 to 2000, general recession in commodity prices
-left-handed tendencies

41st- George Bush 1989-1993
-Operation Just Cause
-Gulf War
-NAFTA
-Early 1990s recession - 1990 to 1992, collapse of junk bonds and a credit crunch in the United States leads to one quarter of US GDP decline, and therefore not an official recession.
-left-handed...

42nd- Bill Clinton 1993-2001
-Don't Ask, Don't Tell
-NAFTA
-Lewinsky Scandal
-Operation Allied Force
-left-handed...

43rd- George Bush 2001-2009
-No Child Left Behind Act
-War on Terror
-Early 2000s recession - 2001 to 2003: the collapse of the Dot Com Bubble, September 11th attacks and accounting scandals contribute to a relatively mild contraction in the North American economy. Since the US GDP never actually declined in this period it is not considered an official recession.

Strikes, wars, operations, threats of recessions... rad.

Obama and McCain are left-handed... you know us left handed folks. We're crazy.

Daniel Geschwind, a UCLA expert in neurobehavioral genetics, told The Philadelphia Inquirer last year that people with autism and schizophrenia are more likely to be left-handed. Those aren't exactly traits you want in the White House.

Apparently, the Bible contains more than 100 favorable references to the right hand and 25 unfavorable references to the left hand. "The devil is nearly always portrayed
as left-handed and evil spirits lurk over the left shoulder.

I guess God hates lefties.

God hates lefties, the history having four in the number hasn't been that great and there are going to be two fours?!?!?! We're screwed.

How hard could being President be? Kaakun for President 2024. I could be the first asian/mormon/3rd youngest president/9th leftie/who knows what else. Of course there would make me like the 48th president... so I could continue the less than stellar-ness and i have an excuse for why I might suck at being President...

Remember The Return of the King?

I'm not saying that my return to Provo was King-like. But the reason I mentioned this, was because I personally felt that The Return of the King ended...then had 30-minutes of "who gives a crap at the ending" well this was how I felt at the end of this trip.

To sum up Sunday.

I drank a whole bottle of XanGo. Didn't have explosive diarrhea.
I went to stake conference.
I called Mary pickle in the middle.
She didn't want to comply.
I was annoyed. I mean seriously, who doesn't enjoy pickle and play along?

Greg and I went to the Pie on the way out of Utah. It was a heart warming affair. We talked about things, life aspirations, etc. Very little mention about sports.. which for us, is rare.

Frodo saying goodbye to Sam. SOOOO SAD *tear*

So I left Utah.

My 757 had satellite TV/games/music on touch screens. This helps make those take offs and landings a lot more entertaining.

John and LeeElle picked me up from the airport. I debriefed LeeElle on my adventures. Making it a trip of seeing 6 of the 10 Bloggin Buddies.

So that was MY LAST TRIP TO UTAH COUNTY EVER.

Greg and Rebecca: "ha that would be sad if we thought that was true..."

seriously.

I'm so over Utah county.

Lets look at the Pros of visiting Utah...
its nice for like a month in the spring and a month in the fall.
cheap golf
I know people in Utah

Cons
Some of these people can get a little boring (We'll leave out names)
Greg didn't even clean up the place this time I went. First time. it was spic and span.
People move... hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I know the most anti-moving people in the world.

I could always move back. Live with Reagan and Jon and become an Olympic curler.... Really... that could be a reality tv show.

A Red Sox fan. A Yankees fan and an A's fan under one roof.
Two Utes with a pet cougar renting out a room?
Writing childrens books with Reagan and training to be an Olympic curler...
Brandon said his company has four weeks of paid vacation...
the Olympics are three weeks...
People could come up to visit and keep me company... if Reagan permits me taking breaks from training.

HAHAHA If Jon is ok with it...KAAKUN is MOVING TO DRAPER.

disclaimer:that statement is probably not true...

I do like parts of Salt Lake county.

Thank you to David, Larrie, Jessica, Reagan, Nicki, Jake, Bruce, Jake, Rebecca, Greg, Mary, Mary for taking time out of your lives to associate with me. It was enjoyable... if any of you moved out of Utah. I would welcome you to CA. HA, like thats likely.

Side note: Good for No Country for Old Men doing well at the Oscars. That was a dang fine book. I'll watch it as soon as it comes to DVD.

Super Slow Saturday

The sleep part of the sleepover consisted of about four hours of sleep. I did not kick Nicki in the head. So I think that would be note worthy. We slept head to toe... to keep from accidental... touching. Oh wait, genitals are in the middle of the body so I guess it really doesn't matter.

I slept on the couch... Nicki on the floor. I offered the couch, see I'm not a jerk... But she declined on multiple occasions.

Jessica slicked us up some breakfast burritos. Then the Super Sleepover came to a close.

I went back to my old home. and did... well nothing. I played guitar hero with Bruce. He'd give up on a song. I'd beat the song. Which caused him to actually try... and thus tripling my score. See I make everyone better fake musicians.

Bruce plays guitar. Its kinda funny that he can play the song on an actual guitar... but can't fake play the song on a fake guitar.

Greg and I ate with Brandon at Pastorero. It was alrighty. tasty. the tacos al pastor is a bit small, but whatever. (to go with the theme of Internet affiliations...Brandon and Greg are FB/gmail/messenger buddies).

Brandon is getting married April 1st. Thats one less single mormon male that is older than I am. That means I'm one step closer to being that strange single mormon at the back of a family ward.... crap.

We couldn't hang out because he's painting his condo. Most of the rooms are going to be Oregon Coast. The master bedroom is oatmeal. To the boy working the paint counter that just probably equated to six cans of brown paint.

Went back to my old place of residence. and sat around.

Later, Jake (FB), some girl that works with him sorta named Mary, Greg, Rebecca (FB, BB of the year 2007, gmail)and I went to Ozz.

Which led to a showcase of lack of billiard skillz. and some dare-dare dares involving a man in a wife beater... yeah a wife beater in Provo... in 30 degree weather.

Greg: Rebecca you have to "accidentally" walk into someone while they're trying to take a shot.
Kirk: The guy in a wife beater in the front.

at the end.
Kirk: holding the tray of balls... Rebecca how much would we have to give you... to accidentally trip and drop these balls on the a table...the guy in the wife beater is playing at.
Rebecca: $5...no $10.

We didn't make her do it... since to send someone to die for $10 could be a little mean... though it might get me a wife if he just confined her to a wheelchair. Link

After Ozz we went to 7-11. I got a slurpee.. In my excitement to get a slurpee... I may have pre-maturely shot my load. I didn't quite get the nozzle lined up with the cup. There by spraying pina colada all over the place.

This led to a three-some of Monopoly playing. Rebecca won. Flat out won.

That was Saturday...

Part C

While eating... the decision was made to go the Alpine cemetery.

So we did. hit a few more pot holes on the way. Listened to some crappy music on the radio. jaja the radio sucks.

Got to Alpine. Got to the Cemetery.

Some of the rumors or whatever about the Alpine Cemetery.

The figure of a young girl runs across the grass.

Didn't see anything.

There is a rock chair that is located within the Alpine Cemetery somewhere. Takes time to find it at night. You sit in it at night and the souls of the people who are buried there will whisper things. It is said that a breeze will pick up for no reason and people say the trees will start talking to them. It is believed that the spirits are breathing through the trees to be heard clearer.

I heard nothing... there are some orbs though. Side note: chairs in the snow tend to get wet. wearing jeans and sitting in a wet cold chair isn't the greatest feeling in the world.

After a water break at Nicki's house. We went to Lehi.

Lehi is also home to the Lehi Historical Hospital, which has been around for more than 100 years. Over time, the windows have become broken and the back stairs of the building collapsed to the ground. During the night, reports have swirled that the vision of a nurse hanging from the flag pole has surfaced on more than one occasion. Legend has it that the nurse was working late one night at the ward when a crazed doctor took her outside and hung her out to die.

Nothing of note really...

We soon ended up at Jessica's house. Nicki broke her G-string... on her guitar. Thus ending the short life of the sexiest string on the guitar. There was more rat screwing. playing a 5-string guitar> rat screwing? perhaps.

Then the evening started to DRAG on.

Super Sleepover ended with watching, "Bring It On: All or Nothing" I don't know if it was because we started watching this thing at 2 am, but it is hilariously... bad.

SUPER SLEEPOVER PART B

This day was the entertainment "climax" of the trip (Rebecca mentioned if you do air-quotes when you say something... it will make anything sound dirty... I would have to agree).

So after lunch. Jessica and I are at Nicki's. (BB, FB, messenger).

Her left hand index finger has been numb... If you're a BB... I come to cheer you up during all your ailments. foot...tooth... finger... whatever.

End up playing Rock Band. 2x as cool as Guitar Hero III. Probably because it costs 2x as much. But really... fake drum playing >>> fake guitar playing.

Then we paid off Tara for the cake. There was a slight blog fiasco. Nicki and I angered a Lehi RS president... to avoid apologizing like a normal adult. I suggested we buy a cake off of Tara. She spent 4.5 hours on this bad boy.

link

Look I have a comment that made it past comment moderation... yes!

We end up playing Eqyptian Rat Screw @ Jessica's with Jake (her hubby). Not a fan of that ERS. fake drum playing > fake rat screwing.

Well Jessica had a 1242515 billion hour meeting about financial "planning" or something.

So this party of four has become a party of two. Which was similar to this...

then we were back at Nicki's house. I was talking to Jackie... Jackie is a fun person, I enjoyed our conversation. Moms totally heart me. It's probably due to the fact they find me quite non threating. They look at me and think, "I have no problem with my daughter associating with this kid... he has the body of a 13-year-old girl. I could easily kill him if he did anything wrong".

Then we were off and out. Starting the beginning of an adventure. An adventure where I think we hit every pot hole in UT county. Nicki also owns a 200sx. It is a bit strange... sitting in the passenger seat of what is pretty much is exactly the same car.

First we went to get boots from Outdoor Unlimited. (Jackie didn't think walking through snow in regular shoes was a good idea). Yes... even two years after graduating you can't get through the Wilk without someone knowing you. Brad of Bradget fame saw me.

Now that I was armed with shoes. We went to Spanish Fork canyon... Once inside, the canyon quickly turned into windows 98 warp speed stars screen saver mode... So our adventure took a slight pause.

We ended up back in Provo. There were deer loitering in the street on 9th East. I decided.. I wanted some chocolate milk... and decided that we should be like a couple freshmen and eat real fast at the Creamery.

Me: can I pay for this here? (holding up a thing of milk)
grill cashier: yes, (to a co-worker) how do you do this?
(They stand there talking about it for a minute)
Me: It's no problem I can pay for it up front.
grill cashier: (Now there are three people trying to figure it out) Oh it's no problem.
(Minute later)
Me: seriously... I can just pay for it up there.
other worker: no its no problem (me thinking... uh apparently it is) we're just looking for the button instead of just scanning the bar code... it's like a treasure hunt.
me: uh yeah...

Super Sleepover Friday PART A

So I wake up at like 930ish.

Jessica picks me up at 11ish. After a slight detour, we're at Thanksgiving Point at 12-ish. We eat lunch with Reagan.

This is my Xango connection for BBs. They're FB friends (Reagan is my BFF cabinet secretary of FB), messenger buddies, blah blah blah.

It was a long lunch. Who would have thunk Reagan could get out of the daily Xango grind long enough for an hour lunch. It was entertaining... BEST LUNCH EVER....

I heart Thanksgiving Point fries... if I could mix those fries with a Crown Burger... I would live in Utah.

So when Jessica was all preggers... I tried to purchase middle name naming rights. I also placed a big for first name naming rights. Unfortunately, I was denied. Well that was a shame...because the kid is totally infatuated with my non-whiteness...

I'm like the most amazing non-white thing he's ever seen. He's seen a lot of white...he lives in Utah and its snowed a lot this year.

Eventually I'm standing in the Xango parking lot, something I haven't done for like eight months... If you have never stood in the Xango parking lot... well...its pretty much like standing in any other parking lot.

Reagan had her first cavity... poor thing. 22-years and tooth decay shows her ugly head. I am here for BBs... in their time of dislocated toes....or tooth decay.

I am Not Quite Sure What the Name of This Should Be.

I went to Utah for the weekend.

A faithful blog reader might say, "But wait... what about this post. You and Utah broke up."

So why am I here?

-The Bloggin' Buddies is a non-profit business... visit some co-bloggers and its a tax write off.

-I wanted to wear long sleeves.

-jajaja

-food...

Thursday night-Crown Burger Day.
I was eating with my mexican friend and Larrie.

Larrie dislocated her toe. When a BB is in distress... I come to their aid. Of all the BB's I've known Larrie the longest. We occasional vacation together, she's about as tall as me. We get along because, we're mormon and shes entertaining.

So... now that I think about...I can communicate with them 24242 billion ways. they're fellow Verizon customers/they're facebook friends/they use messenger/ they use gmail. four... 24242 billion... whatever.

I miss Crown Burger... its about a pound of pastrami on top of a hamburger. It's delish. It is one of the many reasons Salt Lake county is way better than Utah County.

We joke around for a bit. Crown burger folks are kind enough not to kick you out of the place after they close. We were there til about 10-ish. They closea at 9-ish.

The clear weather in Salt Lake turns to fog in UT county. wow UT county sucks.

I'm ridiculously cold. On a "warm" evening of 38-degrees. Yes, the beach has made me soft.

Taking A Test.

So, its been a little over two years since I've taken a test.

I took a Life & Health license test yesterday.

Now I have to say, I was pretty cocky going into it. I looked around during the class (you need classroom training) and it was a lot of people that didn't speak English as their native tongue (or their second). After looking around at the 50 or so people taking the test with me. I was like... hm, its a shame this isn't graded on a curve.

Anyways, you go inside. They had these old Pentium IIIs (I guess I should be glad they weren't 486s...) and these huge 15" CRT monitors... I mean really like 2nd generation monitors... they took up the whole freaking desk.

So I get going, I'm flying. 56 questions in..."The server at Sacramento crashed, so you can't finish the exam". Everyone starts piling out. I look around at other computers...people were on like question 10 (Everyone wasn't taking the same type of test, some were taking fire and casualty, life-only, blah blah blah).

Then before we get to the door. "Server is back up. you can finish your exam."

I sit down, get to about question 75... and I start running into questions where I was like uh....

Question 100.. did we even talk about this in class?!?!?!

Question 125... who cares... theres is no point pondering on a question I know very little about. I only have to answer 70% to pass... I'm sure I had 70% right...right?!?!?!

I finish the exam. I decide maybe I'll look over the answers really fast.

It's like a five-step process... to look at one answer.

I'm like screw it... I don't want to look over 150 questions with 750-key strokes.

hit submit... off my test goes to Sacramento through a bunch of wires.

I walk out to the waiting room. One kid is already sitting there. I was 2nd to finish. yay me.

He starts talking to me, I'm like whatever.

3rd person to walk out is this above-average looking blond.

This is when I join in on this conversation. (LeeElle should be proud, why I'm not quite sure...)

Well they call the three of us in... It's very much like American Idol...standing there in front of some foreign person... waiting for what happens.

We all passed.

Good for us.

(This is pretty much all I had to say...but I know all four of you blog readers love a long drawn out story) So I can now start selling life/health insurance in the state of CA. I rock. I can also start wearing Hawaiian or bowling shirts too. It's says so in the license.

Why Can’t a Heterosexual Guy Tell a Heterosexual Guy That He Thinks His Booty is Fly?

excerpts from today's conversation

Reagan: they (referring to curlers) would always take our ice time
Reagan: stupid

This eventually led me declaring myself a 2010 (with a fall back plan of 2014) Olympic hopeful for the US Mens' Curling team...

Side note: there is no wikihow on How to play the sport of curling.
luckily, wikipedia knows all...
Curling can be a dangerous sport, for Paterson reports that in 1812 Captain Robert Montgomerie of Craighouse, Deputy-Lieutenant of the County of Ayr, died from a contusion of his foot acquired from a curling stone while playing at Eglintoun castle.

That's hardcore.

hmm. well the plan was to move into Reagan's Draper house. do trivial meaningless work at XanGo and in the meanwhile, turn her front yard into a sheet of ice and perfect the art of curling.

Meanwhile getting corporate sponsors such as Procter & Gamble's Swifter, XanGo and something else to help fund my day-long dream of becoming a Winter Olympian.

This would also make Reagan's day-long dream of being an Olympic coach a reality and Jon's (her husband) dream of having cable-tv a reality(I'd take my paltry XanGo income and pay for cable as "rent").

My VIA Signature Strengths

-Your Top Strength: Honesty, authenticity, and genuineness
You are an honest person, not only by speaking the truth but by living your life in a genuine and authentic way. You are down to earth and without pretense; you are a "real" person.

LeeElle says I lack tact... Apparently I'm just really really honest. I genuinely think that person sucks.

-Your Second Strength:Humor and playfulness
You like to laugh and tease. Bringing smiles to other people is important to you. You try to see the light side of all situations.

yeah... what it doesn't ask is if I'm a jerk when I'm trying to get someone to smile...

-Your Third Strength: Creativity, ingenuity, and originality
Thinking of new ways to do things is a crucial part of who you are. You are never content with doing something the conventional way if a better way is possible.

Of course, I'm like the most creative person I know.

-Your Fourth Strength: Curiosity and interest in the world
You are curious about everything. You are always asking questions, and you find all subjects and topics fascinating. You like exploration and discovery.

I'd like to see new things.

-Your Fifth Strength: Citizenship, teamwork, and loyalty
You excel as a member of a group. You are a loyal and dedicated teammate, you always do your share, and you work hard for the success of your group.

I do my fair share... or if I work with BYU football players... their fair share too... lazy bastards. Except Spencer White... that kid did his fair share.

Anyways, Kevin explained where to take the test and blah blah blah here. Link

I took the Authentic Happiness Inventory first... then I was like...that wasn't it. Apparently I'm in the middle at my current state of happiness.
I was more happy than 54%-63% of people such as;
-web users
- of my gender
- of age group
- of occupation group
- of education level
- of zip code

In case you were curious... here goes the rest of the "strengths" I guess really... at point #10 it should start be labeled weaknesses.

-Strength#6:Fairness, equity, and justice
Treating all people fairly is one of your abiding principles. You do not let your personal feelings bias your decisions about other people. You give everyone a chance.

-Strength#7: Modesty and humility
You do not seek the spotlight, preferring to let your accomplishments speak for themselves. You do not regard yourself as special, and others recognize and value your modesty.

-Strength#8: Kindness and generosity
You are kind and generous to others, and you are never too busy to do a favor. You enjoy doing good deeds for others, even if you do not know them well.

-Strength#9: Appreciation of beauty and excellence
You notice and appreciate beauty, excellence, and/or skilled performance in all domains of life, from nature to art to mathematics to science to everyday experience.

-Strength#10: Love of learning
You love learning new things, whether in a class or on your own. You have always loved school, reading, and museums-anywhere and everywhere there is an opportunity to learn.

-Strength#11: Spirituality, sense of purpose, and faith
You have strong and coherent beliefs about the higher purpose and meaning of the universe. You know where you fit in the larger scheme. Your beliefs shape your actions and are a source of comfort to you.

-Strength#12: Zest, enthusiasm, and energy
Regardless of what you do, you approach it with excitement and energy. You never do anything halfway or halfheartedly. For you, life is an adventure.

-Strength#13: Bravery and valor
You are a courageous person who does not shrink from threat, challenge, difficulty, or pain. You speak up for what is right even if there is opposition. You act on your convictions.

-Strength#14: Industry, diligence, and perseverance
You work hard to finish what you start. No matter the project, you "get it out the door" in timely fashion. You do not get distracted when you work, and you take satisfaction in completing tasks.

-Strength#15: Leadership
You excel at the tasks of leadership: encouraging a group to get things done and preserving harmony within the group by making everyone feel included. You do a good job organizing activities and seeing that they happen.

-Strength#16: Perspective (wisdom)
Although you may not think of yourself as wise, your friends hold this view of you. They value your perspective on matters and turn to you for advice. You have a way of looking at the world that makes sense to others and to yourself.

-Strength#17: Social intelligence
You are aware of the motives and feelings of other people. You know what to do to fit in to different social situations, and you know what to do to put others at ease.

-Strength#18: Capacity to love and be loved
You value close relations with others, in particular those in which sharing and caring are reciprocated. The people to whom you feel most close are the same people who feel most close to you.

-Strength#20: Hope, optimism, and future-mindedness
You expect the best in the future, and you work to achieve it. You believe that the future is something that you can control.

-Strength#21:Caution, prudence, and discretion
You are a careful person, and your choices are consistently prudent ones. You do not say or do things that you might later regret.

-Strength#22:Judgment, critical thinking, and open-mindedness
Thinking things through and examining them from all sides are important aspects of who you are. You do not jump to conclusions, and you rely only on solid evidence to make your decisions. You are able to change your mind.

-Strength#23:Forgiveness and mercy
You forgive those who have done you wrong. You always give people a second chance. Your guiding principle is mercy and not revenge.

-Strength#24:Self-control and self-regulation
You self-consciously regulate what you feel and what you do. You are a disciplined person. You are in control of your appetites and your emotions, not vice versa.

Presidents' Day Weekend

I didn't do anything cool...sorry.

I assisted in pissing off someone with some PG-13 comments...which soon led to this.

Comment moderation has been enabled. All comments must be approved by the blog author.

Be careful what you write on someone else's blog, or a RS president in Lehi might go all big brother on you and this leads to your free speech being censored.

There was this previous little tiff before.
Link

So the other roommate was going to the grocery store. I went with him... BIG MISTAKE.
"Kevin blah blah blah" this. "Kevin blah blah blah" that.

I just sat there... what are you suppose to say? I can't speak the truth... because well they sure won't like that.

Las Vegas was great, no roommates no complaining. no money... drat. I knew there was a catch. *sigh*

really if i wanted all this female drama. I'd get married. Then I don't have to make PG-13 comments on someone else's blog... maybe. Heck, I'd probably still do that.

Just under four more weeks and off to Arizona, goodbye frigid cold temperatures of Winter.. jajajaja. Hello baseball... yaya.

Oh and after giving Avenged Sevenfold a chance... So not into them. I actually think they're kinda crappy. They're just not for me.

Hmmph.

So this guy took some sounds from Windows XP and Windows 98... and made a song.

For What it is Worth

IMDB.com has an Arrested Development movie in 2009.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
Written by Johnny Rosenthal.

JAJAJAJAJA

So my dad sent me an article on XanGo that was written in Forbes...
It wasn't very flattering about XanGo.

It was pretty much all this blah blah blah about how distributors make all these outlandish claims and charge up the whazoo for something that costs like 10 cents in Southeast Asia.

I don't really care... I got a set of $500 power tools and an alright dinner for free.
But it gets you thinking...
My college education was subsidized by 13 million mormons.
There is a bottle of cologne in my house that cost $60 me, but probably cost $3 to make (and 90% of that was probably for the bottle).

45% of the money I spend on gasoline goes to the government as taxes.

Ron Paul, despite all the spam on the world wide web... couldn't win a primary to save his life.

probably 80% of everything I own is made by someone making $3 an hour in Korea/China/Mexico/other random southeast asian country.

yes the cost of the product has to cover R&D, marketing, business overhead, lavish corporate jet fuel costs, etc.

Marketing is crazy. what if we did away with marketing? No more MLMs. What would women in Utah do at home?!?!? No more ads, no more magazines, no more broadcast tv. hell, no more google. Without marketing I'm sure you'd find everything you need. right?

What is marketing? Duh, Mr. Forbes, creative story telling. Thats why I was like, oh that looks interesting. Thats a good story Joe. I'll drop $35 right now and $120 some odd dollars to get a case of XanGo UPS'ed to my house.

Forbes advertises like they're the know-all in the finance sector. If they were, this article would be about Fiji water. $4 for a liter of water?!?!?!?! Thats $16 a gallon people... when it comes out the tap for like 10 cents a gallon. Thats a xango-esque mark-up with out the crazy distributors' lies about curing who knows what ailments.

Will I be able to find penal enlarging pills without the constant spam? I'm sure my doctor would know what to give me for any herpes outbreak. I could probably get drunk enough on something and have fun partying with attractive supermodels on the beach. I cant think of anything from this superbowl sunday... $2.7 mil for 30-seconds of airtime = crappy commericals. Where is the article on the NFL making tons selling NFL broadcast rights Mr. Forbes? We know it wasn't all spent on the production values of the superbowl...b/c they're pretty much the same as any other football game. Except for an extra $100k spent on pyrotechnics.

anyways, So what is Xango's mistake? not policing a handful of distributors that are full of shit? I think so, who told them to give a handful of 24-year-old call-center graduates the job of policing amost a million distributors. Is it over marketing the mangosteen in fear that the 15-minutes of fame will die in 10 minutes?

Or not advertising on Forbes.com... because I'm sure that Forbes would STILL point out problems with companies that pay them advertising dollars...I mean really that would go alot further than sponsoring the crappiest MLS team, right?

Oh well, I'm not mad at you XanGo (It's not like Forbes told me anything I didn't already know 1-there are some douchebag distributors that say anything to get you to sign up. 2- xango just might be plain ole regular fruit juice... but I can drink a carton of OJ in one sitting without getting explosive diaherrea, one bottle of xango and my toilet is not so lucky). I will still gladly accept any invite to Italy on the 500k trip. Hell, I'd even go if I had to wipe Aaron's ass after each meal of gellato and pasta.

This Day in Made Up World History

One day a long time ago... some man (or woman) decided that if something was sharp. It was easier to cut things.

Life was great, you cut things, they die. life is easy. eventually there was a caste system... people fight. they attack you with stuff that happens to be sharp.

Well if you cut of the arm that holds the sharp thing. your life is prolonged. At some point you give the arms to the governing person over that area. He gives you a daughter. This made life a lot easier... because now you don't have to hit on some distant first cousin to get some love.

You fight, cut stuff off, give them to someone, they give you some loving.
Eventually, the war stopped. The male put two and two together and got rid of the middle man... if you want to do something that night... you had to cut something off and give it to female.

Of course there were hiccups in this process... not every girl fell head over heels for gazelle legs..."but baby, it tastes like chicken....mm mmmm".

or the father's arms... "well he was so pleased when i cut those guys' arms off..."

or a goat head. (i dunno...)

the girl's arms... kinda hard to hand her her arms... when she has no arms.

well through trial and error. someone figured giving flowers made a lot of sense... it was all nice and good smelly as a cut flower... then it was all smelly and not so nice to look at as potpourri then 10 days later... it is compost.

So it was really three gifts in one.

Of course, the nature of man is to think... the flower gets knocked up in the spring and (if it gestated like a human) would be born in dec-ish....

GIRLS loved the flower... what about the offspring of the flower... the fruit... in a cake....

Sadly giving a fruitcake does not equate winter loving...

So

Valentine- The Get Up Kids

for Valentine's day. My valentine gave me a pre-valentine gift...

a cigar...

Super Tampax.. cuz I'm super.

I also got a blog posted in my honor...Link. well half honor.

I got some cookies from Jessica... jajaja. I feel sick.. Do not eat a gallon-sized bag of cookies in one sitting.

So one day... a while ago, I schemed up a proposal idea that was quite the proposal... not so much gooshy and romanticy and blah... but fun and exciting at the very least memorable. Create the glass slipper then find someone that can fit into it right?

Nicole Jacqueline may be able to fit the slipper...

jajajajaja.

I Present to you the Starbucks Blended Cremes.

Strawberry and cream and vanilla bean are both alrighty... the double chocolaty chip was kinda blah. all in all they're ok.

Until you look at the nutritional facts...

then none of them taste that great...

jajajaja..

If I was going to die by frozen beverage.. I'd rather it be by a secret item jamba juice... those are dang tasty and just as unhealthy.

Apparently Orange County does not like Sonic. There is only one in the whole @&@)(*@)( @(*@)(*@!8 county. And it's smack dang in the middle of Anaheim.
I miss my happy hour drinks... those are pretty tasty too.

Apparently Orange county also doesn't agree with the take and bake pizza. The nearest Papa Murphy's is two hours away.

Oh and the OC Register is a crap newspaper... I'd say it is on par with its crappiness as the Deseret News.

I looked in their best of 2007 in Orange County for chinese food.
1) PF Changs.. (ok thats alrighty)
2) Pick Up Stix (blah, hate this place more than Panda Express)
3) Panda Express (If john or LeeElle comment on how much they like Panda so help me God.....)

and thats it.

you have to be kidding me. Here's a big @#$* you OC Register... What can you expect for Angels and Ducks fans though... bunch of douche bags....

Strike Update: When Are My Favorite Shows Coming Back?

Shows I sorta watch... All I have left to catch up on is like six episodes of season two of heroes...

30 Rock
Expected to shoot 5 to 10 new episodes to air in April/May.

The Big Bang Theory
Expected to shoot 5 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May.

Grey’s Anatomy
Expected to shoot 4 or 5 new episodes to air in April/May

Heroes
TBD.

How I Met Your Mother
Expected to shoot 5 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May

My Name Is Earl
Expected to shoot 8 to 10 new episodes to air in April/May.

The Office
Expected to shoot 5 to 10 new episodes to air in April/May.

Pushing Daisies
No new episodes until fall.

Reaper
Three pre-strike episodes remain. Future beyond that TBD

Scrubs
Four pre-strike episodes remain. Four additional episodes will likely be shot; unclear whether they’ll air on NBC or go straight to DVD.

Two and a Half Men
Expected to shoot 5 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May.

It would be a shame if they canceled Reaper... it started getting pretty decent at the end. I guess all my Showtime/HBO shows will be the same (Californication, Dexter, Flight of the Chonchords)?

Welcome to the Captain

Has anyone seen it?

It's so-so, its not as good as The Big Bang Theory or How I Met Your Mother...

Joanna Garcia is a cute kid though.

A Post Dedicated to S.A.P.

Interesting facts about SAP.

SAP is used for broadcasting Canada's Parliamentary television channel CPAC in both English and French.

SAP is part of MTS, the multichannel television sound standard set by the National Television Systems Committee (NTSC) in 1984 in the U.S.

Ok ok Stephanie is probably giving me the evil eye right now... which I don't think is the worse thing in the world... but she could probably turn Reagan ("Mister Gorbachev tear down this wall!!!", oh wrong Reagan...)against me with a snap of the fingers... really... an angry Reagan would probably equate to death or something(HOW DOES THAT WORK?!?!?! Girls turning girls against someone so quickly... maybe its due to the eventual syncing of their menstrual cycles due to the constant hang out).

Bystander: What the hell are you talking about?!?!?!?!?!

Some SWAGilishious SWAG from Saturday...I heart my surfboard shaped bottle opener from The Los Angeles Times. Though it might not be the cleanest thing to put in my mouth...

Ok now, I'm focused again, so, every so often... I might hitch onto someone's coat tails.. and make some friends. They drag me to some group of people, if I feel included and am limited to knowing just the one person, a strange thing happens... I make witty banter in a public setting and people are laughing they're like mad and thinking, who knew minorities could be so fun...

Before long, inappropriate jokes are made, they're like, "this kid is great" and I have phone numbers and names written on the back of my hands.

Well this translated to a couple new friends. Which leads to a pretty steep learning curve about me... I heart the copy and paste.

Steph: you should have dedicated that blog post to me as well...i was bugging you that I was bored at work as was LRMRRF

So here is my post dedicated to SAP.
1)she knows LRMRRF... The secretary of FB in my BFF cabinet... yeah I create fake cabinets and name people secretaries in it, deal with that.

2) she works at Xango and will share one of her monthly cases with me!!! (This bullet point might be pending...)

3)She owns a macbook... sure its not a macbook pro... but apple products are swell.

4)she looks at the best blog on the Internet...

5)She has good lips... Don't look at me funny, I don't know this from first hand knowledge... I was told this by someone.

Here's to S.A.P. And now you all know not to ask for new posts... there is two-years of archives on this blog. There might be something good somewhere... (probably not, most of the blog is crap)

So...

I had this dream. I went over to stake conference or something at some church building it was packed... all these people running around. So I started to wander around. It was a nice and fancy building. It was huge. All these mormons wandering around.

I go into one room. It's like its all set up for Obon. This huge ole tower in the middle of the room. I was like holy crap these guys are totally want to be japanese... I'll come to church here, they'll love me.

I walk around this curtain and there is a huge life sized setup of this...

The dolls were people... all done up in Japanese garb and sitting there all still... Now Girl's Day and Obon are two completely different seasons, but you got forgive them and their obvious yellow fever.

So I was like, this is crazy, pull out my cell phone and snap a photo. and some little girl walks up and is like what are you doing?

I'm like nothing..

And she is like, you have to delete that.

and I was like, ohh ok, I hit a couple buttons to make it look i am... ok, It is delete.

you're lying...

no i'm not

let me see...

I start walking away.

she grabs my leg

I shake her off

and start running through the church.

soon I'm being chased by a mob of mormons.

then i woke up.

oh and apparently Roy Scheider is dead... sad. Where are all the millions of RIP Roy facebook groups like there were for Heath?

"Smile you son of a bitch..." oooh Jaws. now that is a quality movie. RIP Roy.

Kaaku in Long Beach

So I got a free ticket to the Los Angeles Times Travel and Adventure (maybe it was Adventure and Travel) Expo. $10 ticket for free. Sure why not go.

So I got in the car, cruised up the PCH to Long Beach.
Ahh Los Angeles County, where every dark alley smells like piss.

The show was pretty jammed pack in the beginning of the day then started to thin out during the lunch hour.

They have a scuba tank. Now I have no idea why you would want to get into a wet suit and scuba gear to "scuba" in a four-foot deep pool... Wow your feet look soo cool underwater and up close. It's not like they dumped a bunch of goldfish in there.
Why not give them the mouthpiece... and a bucket of water... then you don't have to worry about pubes in neoprene wetsuits...

You could also fake surf...or something.

They also had a climbing wall.

SWAG.
So sometimes events offer some great SWAG. You know, STUFF WE ALL GET. Some times its more like shit we all get...
#1 thing was a deck of cards from some Indian casino... I'm not sure if these were free... but if there is a pile of them on a table with no price tag. I'll assume it's free game.

#2... yeah everything else kinda sucked, I got a bottle opener, some stickers, some pens, some cheap candy.

The only people that called for me to come over to their booths were the ones at the Utah booths... (It's like the state of UT wants me to come back for a visit or something crazy like that...)

I learned about such things as AAA discounts on Lake Powell houseboats... what to do while in Cedar city, what to do in Utah county hahahahahahahahaa... yeah.

Over at another booth..
Lady: do you like to hike?
Me: sure
Lady: well here is a list of all the different countries we offer hiking adventures in... in fact they're going to show some pictures over there from hiking Japan...

Apparently I look like one that would enjoy to hike a country full of people that look like me...

They had a stage where ethnic things went down... at the end they got audience folks to get up and shake their groove thang.

OMG!!! my people are sooo strange. ^_^ j/k i <3 my fellow japos.

Oh apparently washing your underwear is a big hassle while traveling, there is a company that sells disposable undies.

This One is Dedicated to LRRMRF.

Because she is bored at work.
sadly, this was written after she left work.

Kaakun Tourage 2008!!!!!

Worthwhile places Kirk will go in 2008 maybe.

March 14-16 Phoenix, AZ... Ahh spring training... hanging out with David in 24242 degree heat and looking in on baby Kelsey and seeing if he looks more like Kevin or Sarah...

June 17-22? Havasupai?!?!?!?! I don't know when it will happen actually. I am ready for some more blue water turned brown water and for a slew of dam jokes. This time I will hike out with more than like a liter of water.

Luckily I live at the beach... so hello five months of tanning.
I will also work out I've decided... It was hot last year and I will sport a pair of these for the majority of the trip while lounging in the canyon. Link

July 18-20 Palm Springs Yep I'm like a 70-year-old... going to play in Palm Springs.

Happy Chinese New Year

There are two things I think of once Chinese New Year rolls around.

1) All those freaking Chinese kids in school that would get like $2k in cash... for doing nothing... stupid Chinese and their money laundering ways.... Really what does a fourth grader need in with $2k in brand new twenties that are not sequentially numbered.

2) Kevin (Greg came, David C. came, David D. came, LeeElle came, John came...) not coming to the Chinese New Year bash stating a lame excuse of, "i never got it in my e-mail..."(I got in this kick of making crappy photoshop/illustrator invites to things...(I guess girls heart the flash invites... Wafflelafalala got some actual females added to the usual overload on pork sword wielding folks) I guess figuring all the practice would lead to some kick ass professional looking wedding invites or something... by 2015 I should be pretty darn good, probably not). ramble ramble ramble.

So 1) if I had $2k sitting around for doing nothing what would I do... I want a Gibson Les Paul from the 50s... Shoot I'll take a re-issue.. I'd also take one of those wall mounts that you can hang a guitar off the wall so I could stare at it and think, "dang I wish I knew how to play a guitar properly" (yes, for some reason I want a FOURTH guitar to sit around and collect dust).

OOR I WANT to go on a kick a vacation. really '95 was Australia/NZ, '00 went to Japan (that was an awesome two-year vacation...at times...) what happened to Island adventure'05??? no sipping mai tais ankle deep in sand... no anything. really what happened? Maybe God expected me to be off on a honeymoon or something then... Maybe I should work on that... any takers?

2) Yes I'm sort of in a kick to make crappy invites again... but I'd have to befriend people and blah blah blah. Maybe I'll just continue to photoshop people over former co-workers...

Everyone Left Me... So I Give You More Useless Stats

So I took the "logical" approach with my feud with Stephanie... throwing stats and blah blah blah in her face. Finally I succeeded. Some stats since I'm alone at work and Internet-wise.

I've had wall-to-wall conversations with 50 of my 121 facebook friends.
Reagan 357 wall-to-wall posts.
Jessica 84 wall-to-wall posts.

Yep I've talked to Reagan 4x more than the number two person. Reagan is the gateway drug to my becoming a facebook junkie...

the list goes on as...
stephanie
Irene
Kevin
David L.
Nicki
Lauren
Rebecca
Derek

Jajaja congrats to Reagan, Jessica, Larrie and Rebecca for being Bloggin' Buddies and top facebook buddies... Thanks to you I'll have carpal tunnel in three years.

Side note: Jason has been far to idle on his BB status... Nicki and Stephanie, one of you two may be able to join my elite group of Internet Confidants w/carpal tunnel.

Boss Doesn't Come to Work + Jessica's Snow Picture = Perfect Storm

Yes it may have gotten a little out of hand.

All this talk of Perfect Storm is making me cold... I'm going to the beach.

We Now Stop this Regular Scheduled Programming for a Kaakun Special News Bulletin.

LEHI, UT (AP) Reports from Lehi have been leaking out the past week that President Reagan Florence has considered Kirk Nakano to be a top runner for her B.F.F. cabinet, as Secretary of Facebook. Despite only being on Facebook a limited time, he can bring new insight to President Florence’s B.F.F. cabinet. He has an impressive resume being previously aligned with such social-networking sites as; Friendster, MySpace, hi5 and Xanga.

We now go to Kaakun political pundit, Takeshi for his take on this news… Takeshi.

I think Kirk would be a good hire for President Florence’s B.F.F. cabinet. He grew up in the Silicon Valley and is very Internet-savvy. He will provide insight to the BFF cabinet that the other secretaries may not be able to provide. He is loyal and will stand by his convictions through all the ups-and-downs the cabinet may face. Back to you in the studio.

Lets see what they say on the Streets

I hear he is against facebook applications that require you spam your friends. I think that’s B.F.F. cabinet worth just right there.

I think both front runners are capable.

It’s like a poster-boy match for an Ensign/Liahona issue. But not just any Ensign/Liahona issue… A general conference issue. One white female friends with an asian male? That shows the possibility that people can look past differences and the Internet can unite the world…

So I Was Looking At the

Artist list for Bamboozle Left...

FACE TO FACE IS BACK TOGETHER... My favorite band from Victorville, CA is back people.. (/slight sarcasm, though its probably true... I dont think much comes out of Victorville).

I had to dig through my I-tunes. Find that 1992 hit album "Don't Turn Away" and blow off the dust and hit play. I'm listening to it right now as I type this up.

First Slick Shoes please Christian Punk rawkers everywhere by re-uniting and now Face to Face is back. Will Tom and Mark make up and reunite Blink 182? really all tom would have to do is join +44... it sounds the exact same just minus Tom.

Anywhoo the artists for Bamboozle Left are...

-My Chemical Romance (liked them soo much better when they were just some small band from Jersey singing about vampires)

-The All-American Rejects (ahhh AAR brings back RG memories)

Memory 1-The moment the little faith Kaakun had in his guitar skillz died.
Jenny: Are you trying to play Swing Swing?

Memory 2-
Maureen: We want to see AAR at Sundance want to come with?
Kaakun: no

Three months later... I asked you if you wanted to hang out and you didn't even give me a reason why you said no....(ITS BECAUSE THEIR WHOLE APT DIDN'T HAVE A CAR AND THE ONLY REASON I WAS ASKED WAS TO DRIVE, I know... don't try to use your "Oh Poor Me" tricks on me.

Subsequently, I asked her the following school year if we could go to Costco with her. She ran into LeeElle, Kevin and John at some school gala event. The three of them giggled like school girls, they then married us off... funny I thought I would have to be present at my wedding....

hey man,

I heard you got a home edition of Dance Dance Revolution. That is probably one
of the coolest things I have ever heard. ahaha I want to come and play some
time. By the way, I told LeeElle that you had emailed me, and she felt the
need to tell Kevin, and John...and they haven't stopped making fun
of me yet. They wanted to know when our wedding date is. Then Kevin started
making all these inappropriate gestures, and I thought I might actually die of
embarrassment. ahahaha anyways...I thought that was funny. well, talk to you
later.
Maureen

p.s. when is our wedding date anyways? October works for me...Vegas?

-Paramore
Memory 1: Found out about them early '06, bought the CD told Ellie about them and was like I kinda really sorta of like this, it sounds like Kelly Clarkson but isn't....

Later that night...
Bridget: ARE YOU LISTENING TO MUSIC?!?!? WHILE PLAYING CARDS WITH US?
Ellie: It's Kelly Clarkson.
Kaakun: uh.. yeah...

-30H!3
-A Day To Remember
- Alkaline Trio (best thing to come out of Chicago)
-Anti-Flag (used to like them til they sold out and went to a major label... I mean really....
-Armor For Sleep (yay)
- Bayside (yay)
- Chiodos (yay)
- Danger Radio
-Daphne Loves Derby
- Finch (I thought they quit too..)
-Jimmy Eat World (yay)
-Goldfinger... yeah um veggie hot dogs... and the Big Ass show of 02... um.... no veggie hot dogs for me (side note in Kaakun history: 1st thing I ever did with Kevin)
-Metro Station
-My Children My Bride
-New Found Glory (hmmm... used to like them sorta)
-Pierce The Veil
-Reel Big Fish
-RX Bandits (yay)
-Saves The Day(triple yay)
-Set Your Goals
-Streetlight Manifesto
-The Bouncing Souls (yay)
- The Color Fred (He soo wants to be John Nolan its not even funny)
-The Starting Line (they're catchy, I don't want to like them...but its a guilty pleasure)

So yeah... that would be kinda neat to go to... Anyone want to send money so a poor minority could see some East coast punk rawk bands play? $75 for a two-day pass.

Because Internet Quizzes are All Knowing

Giggling Like A School Girl.

Link

Thank God for Facebook

So thanks to the wonders of social networking I get to see what people do.
I show you a picture of David. One of the many Davids that I know.

Now I've known David for quite a long time. Paul made him eat a worm to prove that 12-year-old Davey was a man on his first boy scout campout. Yeah...

I hope she didn't stick her finger in there and pull a fig out.

Whatever. David went to the Jerusalem Center this year. I did not know that BYU re-opened it. Quite frankly I would be a bit nervous to walk around Jerusalem with a bunch of white kids with minimal guerilla war tactic skills. But to each their own.

But really Facebook is great. It lets you follow-up on the happenings of people that chances are, you wouldn't have given a rat's ass about otherwise.

I'm not saying I don't care about ANY of my facebooking associates (or David, he's a fun kid, he likes hockey and he makes me feel taller). But really I had to pad the friend count. I couldn't just have like ten facebook friends. So there are some peeps on there to make me look popular. But really its a pretty good chance that out of every five facebook associates, I care about the well-being of one of them.

Side note: I so beat out Stephanie for Reagan's Facebook BFF affections. The Price is wrong Stephanie.

Giggle Giggle Giggle.

SL Tribune- Y. Kicks Out Best Hitter

This isn't as laugh-out-loud funny as the clean flicks thing. But it's... well it's BYU. But seriously they said the Honor Code office wasn't involved... there HAD to be something for him to get kicked out besides the bishop not giving him his E.E.

A comment from the peanut gallery on the article.

I went to BYU and I am an active member of the LDS church..

With that said, I honestly believe BYU is one of the most messed up, backward thinking institution in this country..

They mandate ridiculous things, create an environment of distrust amongst students (as they may be the one who rats you out), and have their "authority" figures from administration to the individual church leaders that abuse their power.

By the way, Professor Kearl is the biggest jerk of an individual you can meet. And this is coming from someone who was friends w/ his kids.

I feel sorry that this kid had his reputation and future jeopardized because of this.. Who care if he didn't go to church every week. Create an environment that would help him become more active.

reputation and future jeopardized?!?!?! HE PLAYS BASEBALL AT BYU... Not some real baseball school. Best case scenario as a BYU baseball player. He gets to AA and makes 15k a year. I'm sorry, but if he has baseball talent. You don't go to a school that has a baseball field covered in snow for three months of the year. He would have gone to ASU (or one of the bijillion baseball schools in SoCal) played for two years, got drafted, quit school and would have been in the Majors four years later.

His father,

"We feel like we are getting chased out of Nauvoo," said the 21-year-old baseball star's father, Kenneth Walton. "This is a soul, not a nobody. It's a sad, sad situation that somebody is trying to make an example out of my son."

Really it can't be that bad. Go to church, get your E.E. back. Is it possible that the bishop is on a power trip? sure. But leaving Brigham Young University is not the WORST thing in the world and no where as bad as getting "chased out of Nauvoo".

That being said, the school(like most) totally turned a blind eye to their football program's off-field antics during the Edwards era. Why? because thats where the money is. You win a national championship as any other sport(besides football and basketball), what do you get, maybe a T-shirt. You want to stay a Cougar kid? You're going to have to learn to shoot a basketball or throw a football.

This Day In Kaaku History

Sorta (02.01.04)
Greg: Was that her boob?!?!?!?!!
Me: No way that couldn't have been...

yep the kid that has holes in his retinas noticed it. I did not.

Probably the first thing I ever did with Greg. Watch the Super boob... I mean Super Bowl.

Exclusive! Jason Bateman Confirms Arrested Development Movie Talks

Link

Now I wonder how this is really going to work. It reminds me of another Fox TV show that got cut before it should have, Firefly. Both have a pretty strong following, DVD sales are high. So why not make a movie?

The problem with the Firefly movie, Serenity, was the fact they expected people to know the basic story from the tv show. So if you had watched the tv series it all made sense. If you didn't watch the tv series, you had some major character questions. I can see this problem (to a point) with Arrested Development.

The movie kind of wrapped up the storyline for Firefly though. You were like oh so thats what happens... Arrested Development wrapped up most their storyline since they knew the end was near.

We'll see what happens. I'm tired of all the people saying, "I watch ________(The Office, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia/whatever) now. Its like the new Arrested Development." No, really it is not.

side note: I think its a little sad that her best experience of her life was participating on American Gladiator.

Happy Februrary

The month of love, groundhogs and presidents. Or groundhog loving presidents? The month that gets jewed out of 2.75 or 1.75 days by the other eleven months. On average it is the wettest month of the year in Las Vegas. It starts to warm up from the fridged temperatures of December/January (GOOD BYE AVERAGE JAN '08 LOW OF 48 degrees in Huntington Beach). Ah February.

I kinda hate February. The Sharks have kinda suck in February in the "new NHL". Don't know why. Baseball season is just in the training part of spring training. Just kind of a blah month.

I am accepting applications for valentines though. Please pass them along to single female friends (or married female friends... whatever if she doesn't care I don't care, jajaja). click on the link. then click on the click here to download. it'll start downloading.http://www.mediafire.com/?8nlsbwjs4mo
you need excel. who knows what you may get. a bag of poo... flowers... candy... dinner... lunch... all of the above!?!?!?!?! who know what randomness may appear on your doorstep/desk/etc on 2.14.08!!!!

Side note: 1.00 USD = 29,999.00 Zimbabwe dollars. Yes the USD is still stronger than one currency. The USD is almost equal to the Australian dollar... crazy.
