So this must be the change that the President mentioned.
- New roommate since April.
2nd Scott I've lived with. He however likes baseball and decent music and was born in the 80s. Wins on all levels.
-The neighbors changed.
So the couple next door got sick of paying $4k a month to rent a place near the beach. (I think it was a couple, maybe it was a Three's Company arrangement... who knows)
Anyways a family moved in. I miss the old tenants.
1- The couple didn't have a teenage daughter who screams "Why do you hate me sooooo much?!?! You've ruined my life!!!!! I HATE you!!!" every other day followed by a slamming of doors.
2- The wife/mother figure likes talking on her phone outside. She also smokes likes a chimney. When you have an open window facing their home, you hear and smell more than you'd like.
3- I guess thats it really.

Done and Done
So I finally watched all of last season's TV episodes from programs I follow. A lot of the shows weren't picked up, so it looks like I'll be a lot more productive during the primetime hours this fall.
I bid farewell to
Flight of Conchords

I liked season 1, season 2 just didn't have all the same magic. It seemed rushed, even though they waited half a season so they could spend more time on it.
My Name is Earl

My Name is Earl was different, here is to a TV exec ok-ing four seasons of a show that wasn't a hospital or detective drama clone show. It's a shame no one would give them a half-season to wrap up the show properly.
Pushing Daisies

Pushing Daisies rocked, my slight issue with it was the piemaker got really sappy halfway through the 2nd season.
Reaper

Like everything else on this list, two seasons and done for Reaper.
They Should Have Canceled
Scrubs
They finished it and ABC was like, lets bring it back anyways.
oh that sounds really interesting...
Two and a half Men
CBS renewed it for THREE more seasons. really?

On June 19, 2009, it was announced that the reformatted ninth season of Scrubs would "shift from the hospital to the classroom and make med-school professors of John C. McGinley’s Dr. Cox and Donald Faison’s Turk." According to Lawrence, the ninth season will "be a lot like Paper Chase as a comedy," with Cox's and Turk's students occasionally rotating through the halls of Sacred Heart and encountering former series regulars. McGinley and Faison will be joined by "a quartet of newbies (most of them playing students)" as full-time regulars, while one of the freshmen "will be fairly famous."

Poor Teams

So I've never witnessed the following teams win the World Series. In order of championship drought length (with their "accomplishments" during that time)
-Chicago Cubs last won in 1908
(.485, 5 division titles, 19 losing seasons)
-Cleveland Indians last won in 1948
(.499, 7 division titles, 2 pennants, 16 losing seasons)
-San Francisco Giants last won in 1954 as the New York Giants
(.510, 5 division titles, 2 pennants, 12 losing seasons)
-Texas Rangers never won, founded in 1961
(.487, 3 division titles, 17 losing seasons)
-Houston Astros never won, founded in 1962
(.519, 5 division titles, 1 pennant, 8 losing seasons)
-San Diego Padres never won, founded in 1969
(.484, 5 division titles, 2 pennants, 15 losing seasons)
-Milwaukee Brewers never won, founded in 1969
(.482, 1 division title and pennant, 17 losing seasons)
-Washington Nationals never won, founded in 1969
(.484, 1 division title, 14 losing seasons)
-Seattle Mariners never won, founded in 1977
(.483, 3 division titles, 19 losing seasons)
-Pittsburgh Pirates last won in 1979
(.464, 3 division titles, 23 losing seasons)
-Colorado Rockies never won, founded in 1993
(.471, 1 pennant, 12 losing seasons)
-Tampa Bay Rays never won, founded in 1998
(.421, 1 division title and pennant, 10 losing seasons)
Googled Betting Odds to win it and it presented these lovable losers odds as...
Brewers 10/1
Cubs 25/2
Rangers 20/1
Rays 25/1
Mariners 50/1
Giants 70/1
Indians 75/1
Rockies 75/1
Astros 150/1
Padres 150/1
Pirates 250/1
Nationals 3000/1

Fa Fa Fa Fa Facebook
So Facebook wants you to be easier to be identified.
I could be at facebook.com/kaakun
but I wanted something long. something like.
facebook.com/617773682_used_to_be_the_way_facebook_identified_me_good_thing_we_could_pick_our_own_username
sadly, "Usernames must be no longer than 50 characters"
and "Usernames can only contain A-Z, a-z, 0-9, and periods (.)"
and apparently facebook can not be in the name, because everytime I add 352352 random numbers to facebook. It says it is not available.

CSU Fullerton
So since UCI was eliminated at the Regionals, I had to go to Fullerton to see some Super Regionals baseball on Saturday...
CSUF v. Louisville.
So Louisville kinda sucks at baseball (well I guess more like they're over-rated?... Big East, more like big crap).
Fullerton kicked their trash 11-2. (Friday's score was 12-0)

Look, It's a Louisville Cardinal...

I see it...

Daddy's little Princess... er. Prince?

Freshman Noe Ramirez- major kinesiology

The only sport CSUF is good at.

Nothing like a cake walk to the College World Series... I mean come on... they played Georgia Southern, Gonzaga, Utah... (UTAH?!) in the Regionals.

On a cool, gray April 7, the Cardinals led Indiana 15-1 in the eighth inning at Jim Patterson Stadium. Wunderlich was up with two runners on when a 3-2 pitch struck him in the face.
"He went face-first into the ground as soon as it happened," trainer Pat Hassell said. "As soon as he lifted his face up … you could see a steady stream of blood coming out of his nose. That's when I waved to get some towels out there to help contain all of that stuff. It was already kind of puddled up there on the turf … quite a bit of blood immediately."
Wunderlich's broken nose was listing seriously to the left. The orbital bone under his right eye had two minor fractures. The sophomore from Downers Grove, Ill., was helped off the field. Eventually he noticed that his white pinstriped jersey was remarkably free of blood.

2009 College World Series Regionals
So UCI was ranked #1 in the nation. Go Anteaters!!!!
They got a doosy of a regional.
Virginia, San Diego State and Fresno State.
Virginia won the regional...
Sad.
I associate myself with LOOOSERS. BYU/SHARKS/UCI/Earthquakes/A's
sigh.
I went though, six games over three days. Yay for baseball.
It would be cool to see the Super Regionals at Fullerton this week though. Fullerton was ranked 4th in the nation and they got crap like Gonzaga, Utah and Georgia Southern.
Of course they won their regional. I mean Utah?!?! ooooooh. that doesn't exactly make you shake with fear.
Pffth.

"Crap this Virgina team is really good...."

"Last time I have to pitch as a poor man... hello Washington Nationals and $8 mil signing bonus. Although DC is way more ghetto than San Diego..."
Virginia Highlights
-Danny Hultzen (Fr) was drafted last year by the Diamondbacks in the 10th round,
pitched 7 and 1/3, 4K, 0 R, played 1B, hit 4-for-11.
- Jarrett Parker (So) OF- 6-for-14, 1-3B, 4-RBIs
-Franco Valdes (JR) C- 5-for-11, 4-RBIs, 1-3B drafted 2006 in 15th rd.
-Andrew Carraway (SR) 7 IP, 4 H, 3 Ks
